Put a "Pause" command in your batch file. The list is shown on the screen. You can also redirect the output:

mceepgdownloader list-headends > Headends.txt

Thanks. Runing it with the pause symbol got it to create the HeadEnd.list.txt file, but was but it is empty. The same error message displayed on the screen that I posted before. I'm new to Vista and the language in the error message "requested registry access is not allowed" makes me wonder if there is some security setting in Vista that I need to disable? Any thoughts on that?

Have you already set up the EPG in Media Center?

whurlston, I went into Vista and set the "User Account Control" security setting to OFF and was able to get the .bat files to execute properly. Actually I ended up doing a complete uninstall and reinstall and now all is working pretty well. I don't see the channel numbers in the TV Guide, only the call letter like KSBW. I imagine this has been covered in the forum and will do some reading to see how I can fix that. Thanks again for the response.

You need to modify <TVGuideChannelHeaderType> in GBPVR's config.xml. I can't remember the values off the top of my head but it will be one of 0-3.

You've got a huge thread there!

I stepped back for a long while because it stopped working for me, but I was piggy backing on my exes SD account, so it didn't matter. (isn't that what they're for?)

I'm sorry if I'm doing a newbie thing here, but the thread is so long, I only skimmed the last 10 pages, and might have missed this

Where are your new builds for MCE2XML ? I refer to the first page, but it doesn't look like it's updated. I look at the wiki and it also looks like it hasn't been updated since I looked at it...

Have you built in anything to check/confirm/change MCE auto update so a person doesn't have to go into MCE to change it...?

Is there anything new about the downloader?

It's possible that the data file is out of sync with the dtd schema. I have someone in the UltraXMLTV sub forum that got the error. He hasn't posted his file, so I couldn't check. But if I get my own file I could confirm compatibility with Ultra

And then there's the rhetorical question, would you like me to update your wiki page?

There are no new builds since what's on the wiki. I've been busy with work and the Netflix plugin. There is a new utility called mc2xml that doesn't even require Media Center so I probably won't do any more updates with my app.

Thanks for that... There's one little bug in it but it's really quick...

I wish I could figure out how he's getting the data directly. I have figure out the urls but downloading requires a session token which is first retrieved from an HTTPS website and I don't know the parameters that need to be passed. I suspect it's a soap application but I'm not sure. Oh well.

What's the bug? I may be able to make a small app that will load it, fix the bug and spit it back out.
