I discovered your problem...
You have chosen to use the <live> tag and that does not conform with the DTD.
Remove the -L switch from your command line...

Another BTW, when the DTD error window pops and is then dismissed, the process does seem to continue, and the resultant xmltv.xml file is accepted okay by GB-PVR.

The problem was that when run via the UpdateEPG.bat - I'm not there to dismiss the error window so it stays hung.

Maybe a timeout on that window, and auto-dismiss it?

Great. Actually, the tip is already in the documentation for mc2xml

Also, actually, when you get the error, nothing else happens, at all, period. You were probably seeing the previous file loaded, and number of records etc... Ultra is designed that if there is an error, it doesn't touch the original xmltv file. That means that GB-PVR is able to still import a file, just not an enhanced file...

I can't timeout on that error message. It's a popup from the DTD checker itself, and that's code I can't crack...
