I am reaching out to everybody and would like to understand what is the skill set (C#, .net, Perl, unix, et all) that is required to develop a plugin for GBPVR?

Most people develop plugins in C#, but you can use any of the .net languages (VB.net, Managed C++ etc). C# is pretty easy to pickup for anyone that has done c++ or Java development. This thread has a few examples: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=27703
External utilities, which might just look at the database, or move/rename recordings etc, could be written in any language. |
