Just not getting it...

Just installed the latest version. No errors or unexpected messages.

I have the Hauppauge 2250 tuner. Set up an analog tuner as described in two other posts. Scanned for channels, found what I expected to find.

When I select Live TV I get a flash on screen that seems to have three items on it. The channel list is empty in the config utility.

I've looked at the Wiki. Doesn't look at all like what I am seeing.

Running Windows XP SP3. Athlon X2, 2 GB RAM, ATI 3650 video. Comcast basic cable.

The WinTV app works, sort of. It drops sound on a regular basis.

Any ideas on why GBR won't play NTSC?

When you setup you capture source, did you configure your EPG? If so, you would see your list of channels in the capture source settings. Do you get this?

I selected "None". I know what channels I want. And yes I did get it.

If you select 'none' then your capture source will have no channel available (unless you use the 'add' button to manually add them). Most people in the US use the Schedules Direct service for their EPG.

It's off topic but just a word of advice......change your screen name and remove your email address unless you want those evil bots to find your address and send you more junk than you can imagine. Take it from someone who went thru it. Junk mail is bad enough but programs that scour the net for email addresses can easily make your life miserable with more junk mail than you can imagine.
