Antec Fusion v2 (aka Fusion Black 430) display & remote

Have the Antec Fusion v2 (the one with the LCD & IR). Got the IR working a long time ago using the iMon software to capture the remote codes and turn them into keyboard commands.

I played with the iMonVFD plugin (which works just fine with the LCD dll), but this requires you to disable the iMon software, which means no remote control.

So has anyone gotten both the display and the remote working on this unit? If so, please share.

I unfortunately have the firmware loaded on the iMon that kills the plug-in option. Otherwise enabling the plug-in option would allow ExternalDisplay to control the display while the iMon software handled IR commands.

There has to be a way to do this... right?

Hi,

I couldn get booth to work, so I installed a MCE Remote (soon replaced with an logitech 880) with USB IR receiver. Switching on the fusion with the remote work flawless and the imon plugin also. The external IR receiver also gives me a much bether ir receiption.

So what software did you end up using to convert the USB IR commands to control GB-PVR? I have a Harmony 525 which I am using now... still sucks to have an external IR hanging off the unit.

I dont have to convert the commands because gbpvr nativly speaks mce-remotish.

Anyone know if the iMonVFD plugin works with 1.2.13? I tried to install but seemed to to imply it only works up to 1.1.5.

It works, but I would recommend ExternalDisplay as it provides quote a few more options and let's you customize even the back lighting on some units.

I am using ImonVFD with the old Antec Fusion case without the remote. Works perfectly, but given the comment above I am going to check out Externaldisplay.
