First this:
Quote:Netflix and Starz Entertainment Announce Agreement to Make Movies From Starz Play Available for Instant Streaming at Netflix
...
The deal adds significantly to a growing library of over 12,000 choices of movies and TV episodes that can be watched instantly at Netflix.

Then this:
Quote:So potentially, non-PC gadgets that are running the Netflix streaming service could have the ability to directly add and reorder movies to the queue—saving the trouble of having to pull out your computer when you think of something you want to add on the fly.

Funny... I just noticed the same news article on yahoo and jumped right to this forum. The new Starz deal is in effect now and the changes are already on the netflix website (a whole lot of new releases).

uh yeah, that's going to be a big update list Smile

woot!

I already knew they were adding Starz stuff, it's part of the reason movie downloads were failing. They added an "isStarz" field that ws crashing the deserializer. Wink I'll be issuing a small update probably tonight. I will look into the "on the fly" stuff.

Just wanted to pop in and confirm that the newly added Starz! movies don't show up on the queue (I tried "No Country For Old Men"). Meanwhile, non-Starz! movies show up successfully.

On an unrelated note, the Top 100 screen only shows 2 movies: "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and "March of the Penguins." Is this list updated manually by the developer or does it automatically download from netflix.com? If it's the latter, then how do I fix it?

The top 100 is actually the top 100 dvd rentals. Not all of them are available for Watch Instantly. Only the those that are available for Watch Instantly will appear in the list. There is no Top 100 Watch Instantly list.

Oh, I knew there was no Top 100 Watch Instantly list. I guess I was just surprised that out of the entire 100 movie list, only 2 were Watch Instantly. I thought it was a glitch or something...

You can't just tell me you are gonna give me a little somethin' and then not show up! I am hurting here, you don't know how bad it is knowing all those movies are out there and I can't get some!

Don't be like that!? Give it to me!

That's why I said "probably". I'm working on it but I'm extremely swamped.

Well, it's a nice tool to have in the old toolbox, that's for sure Wink
Keep plugging away. I re-enabled and updated the plugin since I last tried, but as before the only way it works is if I don't use full screen exclusive. Which makes all my other video playback look pretty horrible. So, although it works (watched "The Darwin Awards" last night, worth every penny of 'free') I'm still just going to have to go back to dropping out and going to a browser to view WatchItNows. Sigh.

Not your problem, I know Wink

...try exiting out of GBPVR and using IE.
I find it best to browse from another PC and add the movies that don't show up in whurlson's plugin to the Instant Queue. Then from the TV, browse to the list and click Play.... (

BTW..... I hope you were being sarcastic.....whurlson has put in countless hours on this and has responded to everyone's requests and pleas for help.
I happen to think this is the best plugin by far.
