I really don't know anything about programming, but will this mean anything for GBPVR?

Anyways, many different distros of Linux have really been getting very nice lately. If Windows Vista wasn't provided to me free of charge (thank goodness) by my university, I probably would have already switched. Well, that and because I need Windows for GBPVR, of course.

Sorry, but it wouldnt work on Linux. GB-PVR also needs Directshow and BDA drivers etc, which just dont exist on Linux.

linux has mythtv and me-tv

http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Multimedi...9756.shtml

me-tv is a lightweight nice viewer.

mythtv is a media centric application like gbpvr.

not much reason to try and force a windows app to work on linux when good alternatives exist.
I currently use Ubuntu Ibex linux. one of the better user friendly linuxes.

linuxtv.org has a lot of information
