DVB-S wiki entry page

I'd like to contribut some documentation to the wiki in the following seciton:

- Manual Contents
- Configuration
- Capture Source

I'll like to call it "Define DVB-S Source" to match the other naming. Once the page is created, how can I get a wiki account to update the page? I'll use the attached iages as a start. I'll probably need to update these images eventually.

I'd also like to make a few definition updates to the MDAPI section on the Misc2 page.

Lastly, I'd like to use this thread to help me fill in some definitions.

There is a dropdown field on the Digital capture source page called DiSEqC. Can someone verify that my definitions are correct?

NONE Direct connection from DVB card to LNB
A LNB on port 1 of the DiSEqC switch
A LNB on port 1 of the DiSEqC switch
A LNB on port 1 of the DiSEqC switch
A LNB on port 1 of the DiSEqC switch
SimpleA ??? Tone switch method maybe?
SimpleB ??? Tone switch method maybe?

Also, a few config settings I need to document on the page as well.

Thoose are legacy names and I think they where made short to be one-liners in the left side-bar. Unfortunatly changing names is the same as renaming files at that is still a bit awkward in pm-wiki.

BUT I suggest you add a "Title markup" with your better wording (and also adjust the text on the link in the sideBar).

EDIT: I made a title example on the "Define source" page.

Sub mentioned here the <BDATwinhanDiseqcMethod> setting determines which of the three Twinhan APIs the DVB-S card uses to try and control the diseqc switch. The possible settings are:

• "0" uses the old deprecated Twinhan method.
  
• "1" uses the new Twinhan method.
  
• "2" sends raw diseqc commands
  

Originally "2" worked best for my Twinhan1020a connected to a Dishpro500, but it stopped switching properly for some reason at some point and now I find setting "0" works perfectly. I guess it's a YMMV kind of thing.

Note the Dishpro dishes with built-in switch21 are the same as a DiSEqC switch in terms of LNB settings.
