Oops. I didn't change anything there so I'll have to check it out.
Most likely it is placed from the \menu\skin.xml file. At work now so I cannot check.

I thought it might be there, the panel is mentioned there, but without any placements.
And I can't find that much differences between CS xml and the blue skin xml. And the placement is very different. btw, the wiki needs to get updated that the new music plugin is supported (maybe more plugins have been added...).

I think the nuts and bolts of the now playing panel is in the panels folder.
You could try the attached (panel is positioned just above the task descriptions on the main menu)

Im not sure this is the same problem but when I am playing music from Net Radio and I return to the main menu, the artist and track name appear over the menu. Is this the same file I should be altering?

This is still not fixed in the community package yet.
Seems like there is very few that uses this functionality...
