Just clearing out my hard drive and found gbnetradio file at 2Gb, I only installed the plugin on Sunday had a quick play with it then watched TV.

File creation date ties up with the first use date i.e. Sunday, but it appears to still be being written to because I cant delete it and last update was about an hour ago.

Stop the DVB-T Radio Service - that'll kill it.

If you could zip and attach your logs I'll try to see what went wrong - in theory, the service should terminate a playback graph if it hasn't heard from the DVB-T Radio plugin for more than a minute or two.

Something obviously not right there (stating the blinking obvious Big Grin ).

OK - so nearly 48 hours non-stop. That just goes to show the service has more stamina than a Duracell bunny and you're also going to have a very comprehensive EPG by now. Big Grin

I can see that you tried two radio channels but I can't see you attempting to stop the second one. I'm guessing you started the radio playing then either used a shortcut key (or key on the remote) to go to Live TV or you navigated through the menus to get there without explicitly stopping the radio???

It occurs to me that starting Live TV would force PVRX2 to stop playing back the gbnetradio buffer file (or any music etc.) but the dvbtr service didn't know that.

Could you try the following and post the logs but also include the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log?

1. Reproduce the above, i.e., start radio then do whatever you did to start Live TV.
2. Watch Live TV for a minute or so then stop it and go to the main menu.
3. Stop the dvbtr service

Cheers,
Brian

Yep thats exactley what I did, I have a shortcut on my remote that takes me striaght to live tv.

I'll produce the logs you need but probably not until tommorrow night.

Thanks

Aha - the little grey cells do not fail me. Smile

OK - no rush. I'm fairly certain PVRX2 is supposed to raise a notification event when it stops playing audio and my code is supposed to act on that in just such a case. It looks like one or other didn't happen.

Change of plan here are the logs.

Cleaned out all logs, re-booted then followed your procedure, I could see the file growing whilst watching live TV so it looks like it has repeated the issue.

OK - I think I've found what is going wrong and I'll do some tests. I'm aiming to post a bug-fix version within the next week so until then, don't forget to explicitly stop dvbt radio playback before watching Live TV. Wink

Cheers,
Brian
