Is Kiosk mode supposed to make the Silverlight version go into full screen mode automatically? If so, does the browser have to be IE or Firefox?

If so, does the browser have to be IE or Firefox? No, Kiosk Mode will only launch IE in kiosk mode (no toolbars, etc). For some reference, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/154780 There is no way to tell the Silverlight plugin to go to fullscreen currently. I currently only have the plugin using IE as the Silverlight player. I plan to add the option to choose the browser.

Thanks, It is launching IE and playing fine but I was still getting toolbars in IE7.
No big deal because as you were saying I can't go fullscreen anyway without using the mouse. I was hoping the player was tab enabled but I wasn't able to go that route either. Awesome work on the plugin, been looking towards this functionality for ages

I definitely don't see them. Kiosk mode only turns off the IE toolbars and has no effect on the Silverlight plugin.

I went back and double checked and it appears it may be that my settings for the Silverlight option aren't being saved. (but its still working)
Once I select "Silverlight" and "Kiosk Mode", save, close and reopen config Internal Player is checked again and Silverlight and Kiosk are unchecked.
I'll double check it. In the meantime, you can open config.xml in notepad (NOT Wordpad) and edit the following two lines in the <NetflixPlugin> section:
Code: <DefaultPlayer>2</DefaultPlayer> Also, can you start pvrx2, start the Netflix plugin and then zip and post your pvrx2.exe.log file?

It was happening to me, also. Once the change was made in the config, it would revert back to Internal Player. I'll attempt to attach my logs.

hmmm.... I was going to edit the config file, and it already lists it.

I think I've found the issue. Go ahead and set it to the Silverlight Player. You'll need to set it each time you run Config. When IE launches from the plugin, just hit F11 to take you to fullscreen.
I'll issue a fix tomorrow.

IE pops up on my primary monitor, but GB-PVR is running on my secondary monitor. Should the Silverlight player launch IE? Can I make it appear on my secondary monitor?
