I can't seem to get my cover art to display. I tried naming the Jpg both "default" and "folder" and It won't come up anywhere (could you please make an option to search for cover art in the same directory in your next release). the ctrl+K feature doesn't seem to work. Any help is appreciated.

A few people have had this issue, and it probably the biggest issue I have at the moment,

For some reason it seems the cover art is busted.

By default it looks for embedded in track, song name.jpg, album name.jpg, folder.jpg then default.jpg.

I've had a number of people try to send me the logs but the information doesn't seem to be there. So you can send me any logs you've got if you want, I'll think you'll need to turn on internal ML2 logging, and when insane logging just for a time to get the logs.

Oh, and were is album art missing? On th elibrary screen or when playing?

that worked. Now i just need an easy and quick way to rename all my jpgs to "default". What is the command in dos again to search all sub dirs? I havent used dos in ages. something like rename *.jpg default.jpg and then I think I need a - command... little help?

not sure if there is an easy way.

If you use dir *.jpg /s/b > file.txt
you'll get a list of all jpg files with no date and no size, so just the names.

Then stick it in excel, copy the column to a new one, then rename everything in the second column as default.jpg.

Save that to a batch file and you should be good to go.

BUT, what filename do you currently use? Maybe i could add that for you instead??

Personally, I name all my album art "cover.jpg". Maybe you could have an option to allow the user to enter the name of their album art in the config?

Yes probably, but I think cover.jpg is another fairly known standard, so it is fast er for me (and you) if I just add that to the one module that requires it... Then it would also work for actcms and jaggys MLPanel...

MLPanel gets round the Album Art name problem by simply finding all the jpg, gif and png files in the playing MP3's containing folder and cycling through them. You can also add you own choice of extension(s) to the list.

So you don't use the Interfaces.dll for cover art then??
