To do my EPG processing? It would flag a series and allow me to record the series from the EPG directly.

I am currently using I-XMLTV for Schedules Direct

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/I-xmltvForSD

Works Perfectly. It flags new shows with a marker "*" so they can be recorded without recording reruns.

Already tried that. Everything is fine in setting I-xmltv up but as soon as I go into GBPVR, there's no guide info and using the EPG update shows it as updating but I get a blank guide screen then a few seconds later, it crashes.

Yes I have the SD version. I totally removed all channels in the database and then reran I-XMLTV which now doesn't crash but the channel numbers are all different. I have 2 numbers....the order number on the left and the channel number on the right. So now if I want to go to my local channel 3, instead of remoting or using the keypad for #3, I have to choose 116.
Switching back to standard XMLTV, things are fine. I'm really screwed up!

If you manually wipe out the Channels table, you should also wipe out the Source Channels table.

Also, there's a batch that will help clean things up and get a fresh xmltv file that is generated by I-XMLTV imported

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/EPG#toc40

Or as an alternative, you may use the generic XMLTV.exe and UltraXMLTV. You will get new show indicators and much more. Many of the fields were inspired by I-XMLTV, but I've also taken it a bit further

I just did find the 'wipe out' method and it's working. Now I'll give Ultra a try. What can I loose?
Still can't figure out why using the standard SD choice, I'm getting that message. SD works fine on machine #2 and with XMLTV. I must've done something wrong in a previous lifetime.

Well the developer for I-XMLTV isn't around, and I am !!! Big Grin

Just to be clear for you, and lurkers:

I-XMLTV is a grabber and listings processer combined. By default it will modify xmltv data to display new show indicators and other pieces of information

UltraXMLTV Enhancer is just a processer so that means you must also use a grabber, and my suggestion (when you are a SD subscriber) is to use XMLTV.exe, and folow the directions from the wiki...

Ultra will also give you new show indicators and many other pieces of info too, including (and most popular) season and episode numbers (S02E13)

Haven't really got the hang of all of it but Ultra is pretty awesome! Lots of tweaking that you can do. Got to play around with all the ins and outs but I've obviously been missing alot.
Thanks for the info Frank.

THere's a newer version that's released in my subform, 139 I think, that will be released shortly. Much better, but would like one more beta tester

Also, Keep an eye out because I will be adding one more button "Frank's Picks" which would set up the fields to give a pretty good example of how the data can look...
