Closing Deactivating popups with handlePopupCallback

How do I do this properly??

I handle the command, and have been
setPopup = null and I've even been nulling the popup object.

The trouble is is if I then restart the popup, it keeps running the last actioned command (so normally a "stop") - so as soo as the popup is showed the handlePopupcommand is fired with "stop" again.

I definitely don't get that happening to me. Are you reusing your popup class or are you using a new constructor each time?

I think I might be reusing it...

Yes I do. And since I'm a self taught programmer, let me make sure I'm using the right terminology. Whenever I call the popup, I use setPopup = new MyPopup();

Then I setPopup = null after I get the command callback of course.

yeah thats the correct terminology... I think I had that but might have got rid of it one day....
