I switched to the default blue screen and the MVP starts up; switch to another and it stops at contacting servers.

runs okay on the PC though.

I use the Media Experience skin.

I dont know. I dont remember changing any skin settings in between v0.91.8 and v0.91.9. The logs will probably give you a clue whats missing.

- The GO7007SB devices now default to recording MP3 audio for AVI recordings, but you can disable this by editing the <GO7007SBPreferMP3Audio> setting in config.xml

Which MP3 audio encoder does GBPVR need? I get an error message in the gpvrrecordingservice-native.exe log file, that states it can't find the MPEG Layer-3 encoder.

Graphedit on my machine identifies this as being in quartz.dll, which is part of the standard directshow base. It may have something to do with versions of directx you have installed. What version are you running? I'm on v9.0c

Okay for some reason on my HTPC machine, that entry is called MP3 instead of MPEG Layer-3. On my development machine it is called MPEG Layer-3.

I checked and MP3 is pointing to the same GUID as the MPEG Layer-3. Might want to have it look for MP3 as well in the Audio Compressors.

Also, any chance of adding support for the Lame MP3 Direct Show Encoder by Elecard? It's completely open source, and can be downloaded here:
