Bugger, I've done it again. I did this with 1.3.7 aswell. Got sick to death of people posting support questions in the announcement thread, went to delete their posts, and accidentally deleted the whole thread.

Sigh, I'll post again later today. Other than off-topic support posts, there wasnt much in there that will be missed.

On the subject: I was going to advise to keep the announcement thread closed except for "survival" items coming from yourself. But I see the problem that people (we:p) wouldn't have the opportunity to express our feelings about a new release.
It seems very logical too to post your problems with a new release in the thread that is there especially for that release. I guess a lot of people don't read the thread from the beginning.
So I guess we need a "cunning plan".
Ooohhh I almost forgot: I installed 1.3.11, install went through without a hitch. I even thought of adjusting the recording-settings (bitrate) afterwards.
So I'm happy anyway.Smile

People could just put their compliments & experiences in a seperate thread in the general discussion.
The release thread ends up with a lot of one line comments of how the install went etc.

I like that. Keep the announcement thread open to only Sub for true announcements regarding the release, have a separate thread for the "attaboys" and install success reports, then kill it after a week or so.

Actually, you may still be going mad.

But if it's any consolation, at least you're not mistaken.Smile
