help no records!

help recordings fail and so does pausing the live TV! i have an hdhomerun and i am using the newest version of the pvr.

Does a file get created? How big is it?

yes a file does get created it is 0kb? i am tuning qam instead of remap....might that be an issue?

My first thought would be that there is a software firewall getting in the way. If you have one running, make sure you added an exception for the GBPVRRecordingService.exe

If that's not it, do you have both tuners set up? If so, can you try starting a recording and while it's recording, start live TV, wait a couple of seconds, pause it and start playing again after a 10 seconds or so. Zip and post a full set of logs after doing this.

lol - would be better if it had been any easy answer for you. Unfortunately several things about the HDHomeRun are quite confusing to me, so I'm not great at answering questions about them.

Oh and make sure you have turned off the "dynamic tuner allocation" in the HDHomeRun Setup. It causes funny things to happen with GBPVR.
