Guide2J -new release 2005-04-03

A new release of Guide2J - besides bug fixes the following is a list of new features. Note, the horizontal skin has changed. You will need to update your skins. As always make sure you are using the latest FastFind.

Status bar per timeslot (see if a timeslot has a recording or is in conflict)
Guide loops from highest to lowest channel
Can have indicator of current time
Can show channel numbers next to call sign
Ability to Find More of the same program

Looks very nice. Would be cool if the time was above the arrow, but I only want everything.

Actually you can do that if you want. The y location of the arrow is specified in the skin.

I can't get the recording bar to line up over my time periods (see attached screen shot). I have moved the channel logos all the way to the left side of the screen. I tried putting the x location of the time display to start at the end of the channel logo but that didn;t work because then the date on the left hand side of the display was cut off.

I've tried setting the recoridng bar location to 0,35, 50,35 and 80,35 and it always seems to go in the same place as if only the y location does anything.

I just update the new Guide2j but i don't see it even in the config plugin.
probably a file missing every thing seem to be in the right place in the plugin folder and skin folder.

any clue

I have used your new plugin with xrecord all latest version... when I schedule with the power option and select dates to start and stop with times it sends the wrong dates to the priorityrecordings.xml file. I have to manually edit the file with the right date. I did this tonight 04/04/2005 start and stop dates it puts into the file 04/00/2005 and 04/47/2005... don't know why its doing this... :confused:

Secondly.. I am using this in UK with only five channels is there a way so it only displays the five channels and does not repeat them down the page. The standard tv guide shows only five channels but yours repeats the channels to fill page...

To change to only 5 channels
Open (skin-horiz.xml)

change visibleChannels="5"

The advanced scheduling is done by Fast Find. I will inform Jorm of the bug.

Jeff, I'll make a deal with you... I'll get the recording bar to work if you send me your skin. That image looks real good.

BTW, If you don't send it to me I will still get it to work. Give me untill the weekend though
