Quote:okay, you want me to change from TS MUX to Full TS?
Yep, that was the plan, but if its only happens on some recordings, its probably not going to be easy to catch.
Quote:I have no way of knowing then if the problem is there as I believe FULL TS will fix the problem.
I use Full TS to drive a signal generator, which I then do a TS Mux recording from, in theory emulating what you see. Unfortunately if its intermitten, then its going to be hard to catch. It wouldnt have mattered that you didnt see the specific problem when you use Full TS, as long as I saw it when I did the TS Mux recording from it.
I think you should try to find the pattern to identify which recordings will have this problem. There will be a pattern to it (specific channels etc). Once you know the pattern, then we'll revisit this Full TS plan.
From what I can tell, your broadcaster isnt transmitting a thing called the PAT as regularly as they supposed to. I had to increase the distance the GBPVR TS Reader would search in the stream for the PAT before I could get TS Mux recordings of those channels to play correctly.
With the attached patch, I can now play correctly in GB-PVR (including skipping around in the file).

Will this fix the recordings or just the playback?
If just the recordings why is this worse under the new release. Should I try removing the patch? Or maybe I should just keep full ts and see how that works out.
