Help!

Hello ,

i downloaded gbpvr yesterday and installed it wihout any problem , so i started the program and all works great except when i click the "watch tv" button...nothing happens.

I have a satelite(it works , i watched it on my tv)...so i puted the same cable in my tvcard , the drivers are installed, the name of my card is Philips WDM TVTuner.

Now a little bit about the config , i really dont know hot to set it up exactly , when i want to add capture sources i dont find my tvtuner in the list...so when i click the tab "capture sources" in the config which are the most importand options to watch tv , recording source = , EPG source = , channel changer =

So pls help out , and say if u need some more informations about the confing or something other...t

If you havnt setup a capture source, then you definitely wont be able to click 'watch tv'.

What exactly is name of your DVB-S capture device? (for example: Hauppauge Nova-S)

Can you run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr directory, then attach the filtercheck.log file that gets created?

Sorry, but that device isnt compatible with GB-PVR, since it lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

There is bound to be other programs that support this device, but I dont know which ones.

You may get it to work with the SoftwareRecorder plugin (see thread elswere on this forum), if your cpu has enough power to do the mpeg2 encoding on-the-fly.
