How about an option to set the mvpmcx2 installer to write the scripts so that the files can be placed on the internal hard drive of the PCH?

Since GBPVR is a network app anyway I didn't see the point of installing a drive to test with or figuring out the various names for the SATA and IDE drives. Its a one line edit of GB-PVR.htm to match what shows on http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8883/network_share.html anyway.

Even if I had a hard disk, I'd run from the share and I'd use hdparm to put the drive to sleep before calling GB-PVR.

Now if only etherwake was available on the hardware - The only reason I have a drive installed. But I am now contemplating an always on NAS, so I may return to the "official" method albeit with maybe having to tweak things a touch.

I do it because I run a Win2k3 domain at home for training. It took me a while to get this working before with a username and password in the mount string and I didn't really feel like messing with it this time. So I just configured it to run on the local hard drive. Took me about 2 hours to figure out what I needed to modify and how to modify it so it works properly from the hard drive.

Here's the zip of my current setup to run from the internal HD.
Just place the files on your share drive under UserApps\GBPVR (Case Sensitive) Then add the following line into webservices and name it GBPVR.
Code:
http://localhost.drives:8883/HARD_DISK/UserApps/GBPVR/gbpvr.cgi

Then just drop any new mvpmcx2 into the GBPVR folder when Martin releases new versions.

Thanks Brainstormer. I hadn't thought about putting that in the webservices. Hopefully some other people can benefit from the zipfile you uploaded. I modified mine a bit after I saw yours.
