I find it rather frustrating that the application overrides Windows screensavers but have been rebuffed on that one so will drop it.

But, what I now find rather annoying with the latest version is, when the application is run, it overrides the on screen keyboard.

Now I do not have a keyboard connected to this machine as I simply do not want one in my living room so, if I need to change the aspect ratio for a movie, I exit, run on screen keyboard then change the ratio using F7.

It never did this in previous versions.

Is there any way to disable this?

I have no idea what onscreen keyboard you're talking about, but I cant think of any reason it'd have been any different to previous release.

I'm guessing it's the Windowx XP one.

I'd never seen it myself, but I just tried it and it seemed to work fine for the few things I tried, including F7 to change aspect ratio mode.

If its not working for Deana, its likely something other than the GB-PVR has changed. For example, using a decoder that steals the focus (divx or old versions of Cyberlink decoder), or using the VMR9 Fullscreen Exclusive Renderer (where other Windows apps will not be visible).

Sorry I should have been more descriptive.

I am referring to Windows on screen keyboard, part of Windows accessibility options.

In older versions of GBPVR, when GBPVR is run, the on screen keyboard would remain visible, with the latest version, it does not.

Yes, that one.

I used to be able to change aspect ratio using it, as it stayed on top of GBPVR.

With the latest GBPVR, it does not.

I dont know works fine here with 1.3.11, and I cant think of any changes that would effect external apps like this. You not using the Fullscreen Exclusive renderer?

I recently switched to WMR9 Fullscreen since using any other caused lag on top third of images when in fast motion.

You're not going to see any other apps when you use VMR9 Fullscreen Exclusive mode. It's as the name applies "Exclusive", and no other windows application can draw to the screen. This isnt a change in the new release - thats the way its always worked, and is doing exactly what it is supposed.

Yes, I realise that now, having been told this.

For some reason I thought exclusive just meant "really good" Big Grin

Either way, it is something I can work around so thanks for the heads up.
