I can't get to the search screen. Everything else works. I see the torrents set up manually directly through utorrent. As soon as I select SEARCH, however, I get a momentary glance at the search screen and it immediately drops back to the main menu. Any suggestions?

Hiya,

We're going to need the logs please.... I've like you to zip up the PVRX2 logs and the Search logs within the Torrent Folder.

PVRX2 logs are : ....\gbpvr\logs
Search logs are : ...\gbpvr\plugins\torrents\logs

I gut says it cann't find the search dlls. aka ISOHunt.DLL and THEPIRAEBAY.dll and MiniNova.DLL

anyway send me the logs and I'll look

Blue skin, but your initial thought was correct - the logs show it can't find the search dll's. I've got GBPVR installed in a non-default directory (not below Program Files), and the logs say it's looking in the default Program Files\devnz plugin area for those dll's, not where they are actually located. Is it possible it hiccuped during install and I just need to reinstall?

which log ? can you cut the section... so I can see it ?

it should work... are the DLLs in the plugin\torrents directory ?

I've undone my fix and repeated the error-
The plugins are in my default:C:\Graf\gbpvr\plugins\Torrents They are correctly found here in PVRX2exe.log:
Code:

Here is where it fails (same log):
Code:
2009-02-15 08:03:30.786 ERROR [1] Torrents: SuperSearch.SearchDLL Set- ThePirateBay.dll 2009-02-15 08:03:30.879 ERROR [1] Torrents: SuperSearch.SearchTypeList-GET- Executing 2009-02-15 08:03:30.895 ERROR [1] Torrents: SuperSearch.SearchTypeList-GET- Could not load file or assembly 'file:///c:\program files\devnz\GBPVR\plugins\Torrents\ThePirateBay.dll' or one of its dependencies. The dll ThePirateBay.dll is not in c:\program files\devnz\GBPVR\plugins\Torrents, but it is in c:\graf\GBPVR\plugins\Torrents\ (my default).

I'm not sure about dependencies, but search works if I copy it all to the default location, so it looks to me like there's hardcoded code looking in the file:///c:\program files\devnz\GBPVR\plugins\Torrents area.

Logs attached

I'm fine with my fix of just copying it to my Program Files area, but in case you wanted to investigate more, this may give you some clues.
