I just bought a new HVR-2250 for my system, so I upgraded to GBPVR 1.3.11, and had to go through the Digital Channel Mapping process again for the new tuner sources. I'm using QAM cable with the HVR-2250 and discovered the local network channels included the station information (i.e. "6.1 KOIN-HD"), whereas most channels do not (i.e. "73.7 Unknown10").

Unfortunately, the channel list is not sorted by channel numbers. So, 6.1 ends up buried somewhere in the 107's, 8.1 is buried somewhere in the 115's, etc. Even the unknown channels are out of order in some cases (i.e. 117.12, 117.5, 117.16).

Since I was trying to match the channels with a list of local QAM channels, it was often difficult to find the channel I needed in the long unsorted list.

Would it be possible to sort this list by the channel number in a future update? It would sure make matching up the channels a lot easier.

Thanks,

Anthony

Bump the post in a few weeks, when I'm hopefully less busy, and I'll try to implement it in the next release.

when we finallly get to it. it would also be good to have an option that would turn on/off scanning channels defined on the analog tuner when scanning for QAM channels. This might be easier for the novice user instead of editing the QAM.ini File

Sort by channel name would also be nice.

Certainly for mapping the satellite sources as there is an awful lot of them to search through.
