Yep, the three current text sizings (small, standard and large) would increase +2.

I was going by the naming in the layout section of the plugin, (there the baseskin.xml is called layout). But I do agree, maybe "General layout" / "Global Layout" (for both) would be more descriptive ???

This is just a suggested way to go, if you guys think it's too restrictive we can go another way. I was thinking that this might be the most user friendly way of doing it, but that might be doing the average GB user a geeky dis-service

I think it's a good way. "How do I increase the text size?" is quite a common question on the forums - this is a simple way to do this.

Just committed Text grouping changes to the SVN. Must say being able to change the skin's basic text size in one go is pretty cool.

Yeah I don't know why, but for me this is a real standout, wow, showoff feature. It just seems cool to have that level of control over the skin.

All the direct text edits in the SkinPluginConfig.xml file - do they need to also map on to ...\skin\baseskin.xml file? Are all the TextStyle names etc the same in both baseskins?

All map directly except DefaultTextStyle I believe is DefaultText in the legacy baseskin.xml file.
