So far, I've only downloaded the original version (I think I was count = 2) and the 10:30 update (I think I was ocunt = 3).

I've skipped the other updates since you described them as fixes to keep users from tabs they should avoid. I'm putting my priority right now on getting a full run of Ultra2.

WOA! While I was typing this, it just crashed again at pretty much the same record number (6026 this time). The difference is that the preprocessing file I emailed you was the one from this morning before Ultra1 processed the file. Right now I am running from a freshly retrieved xml file so I think that accounts for the difference in record number upon which the program hangs up.

I won't send you another crash message because I think you already have all the raw inputs to find the error.

You should really grab a new version as I'm posting. Basically unless I have a Eureka moment, and KNOW why a bug you reported occurred, I'm taking stabs.. The very newest one online is what I'm running through your xmltv file with, and t just finished. Looks good...

I'll grab a fresh copy and give it one try.

Unfortunately, each night I have a whole pantload of activities scheduled for my PC. Starting at 11:00pm, I defrag two disk drives, then I have GBPVR do its daily updateEPG and then I do another download of schedules for my PDA. Since Ultra takes several hours for its run, the above sequence pretty much keeps the PC busy all night long.

I will pick up tomorrow morning and see how it is running.

How does Ultra take several hours. I just did your file in 22 minutes. How fast is your Internet?

I have 3Mbps DSL service. While Ultra2 is running right now I see the following Internet load. I have also attached the portion of Ultra's lof from this morning's processing.

Yeah that's Old Ultra for you... Download a file 200 hundred times for one read....

Ultra 2 is much much much better on that, so it should only take a while for the very first ful run through

BTW, I discovered that for Schedles Direct users, you'll have to change the New Show Detection method from 'Date matches AirDate' to 'Previously-shown is null'

That should give you new show markers...

Well one thing is for certain... I have to dod a few things to get New Show detection working on Schedules Direct...

I'll have a look at how I did it with Ultra 1....

You might want to disable downloads for the time being.
