zehd Wrote:TomR, this is why I wanted your xml file (BTW if you zip, It's much smaller I'm sure) With over 100,000 records, you're going to be having some extra fetches indeed. (Or you could PM me your zip code and lineup and I can mc2xml myself a copy)
Did you not get the ZIP file I sent this afternoon to the email address you gave me? Was there enough room in your mailbox for a 16 MB attachement?

Just confirmed my email addy that I PMd you, and my mailbox. I didn't get anything. It's hotmail and I thought I'd be able to get a 16 m attachement. Oh well, PM me you Zip and Linup choice and I'll just create my own file...

Is it a free hotmail or do you pay? I think the free one has a limit on the mailbox size of 2 MB although I could be wrong.

I guess I fined out tomorrow when I get in to work if it got rejected or if I forgot to hit send.

First off, don't delete or backup anything. I especially designed this to handle legacy.

Quote:LewE should have this done in a few minutes.
It took about 10 minutes and previously took about 6-7 minutes.
Quote:During the first 'Go', Ultra will search your XML_cache folder and automatically add any programs that have been marked "Wrong Data" into the list as "No Data". It will then do some house keeping and delete the file types that are not needed anymore. (You won't need any Wrong Data or .. Series.xml files either.
My xml_cache directory now contains files like
seriesname.episodes.xml.ended and seriesname.episodes.xml but only one file per series.

I did a quick check and there were only two programs that were exceptions. ScreenSnaps are below.

Quote:When it finishes. Please Upload (Cache tab >> Upload for Sharing) And then let me know you've done that , so I can look at what you got and then merge it into the master file.
Done.
Quote:Now, there is a possibility that the TVdb.com has singled me out (with my IP, cause I've been pestering the server a lot ) (I really don't think so. There are lots of people complaining about it this weekend, and still not fixed)

But IF you are downloading new fetches at a freakishly fast pace (You can check the WebResonse log to tell you about how fast you queries are happening. I want you to have a go at testing all the shows marked No Data and maybe some of the shows can be fixed.

What you do is on the Cache Tab, click Purge All No Data, and then on Main tab, click Go. Let it run through. Upload the results, Let me know...

I will merge the content, and we will all be better off...
Good Luck
I've attached the web response log for you to decide whether you want me to do these last steps.

The duplicates are because Ultra did not see the Show in the listings, so it couldn't pick or choose which to keep. (With the new Relace.ini, It doesn't look for Life on Mars. It looks for Life On Mars (US) (pity the show is cancelled)

You have a choice. In about 5 minutes I will be taking your findings and and merging them into the Master. You can Purge all No Data, and let it sit. If it's way to slow for you. Just stop. And Download the master again. It's all good...

I was just snooping through the files in Ultra directory and noticed that the _replace.ini file equates The Outer Limits with The Outer Limits (1995) and I had files for both "series" in my cache directory.

I leave it to you to decide whether this is good, bad or ugly.

Well LewE. I wasn't gonna get into just yet, but in a way, the series list can also be used like a Replace.ini. BUT it can get messed up quickly so, don't mess with it yet...

There were many entries that I added to the list manually, to help with the matching. For example I was able to just add CSI and I got like 7 shows added, and Star Trek and there were all the rest of the shows.

I think I put in Outer Limits and it put in both versions, though in most case the ID is different...

Forgot to say, when in doubt, delete a Epsidoe file. The Episodes file is re downloaded and that part of the server is working just fine...

OK Tom, I got your info, downloaded your listings and Ultra is scanning right now.

I have to ask though: Being an Eastern Feed, you you see many more French Channels?

I was confused by seeing this:
Quote: <title lang="fr">Men in Trees: leçons de séduction</title>
<sub-title lang="fr">Le Film de ma vie</sub-title>

As mentioned before I guess I could do something to handle the french. However I might just prefer to skip over a loanguage other than the default one. At least till things stabilize. Hows' that for you? Comment t'allez vous?

It's been a long time since I took high school French, but is that really how you spell it?
