UltraXMLTV Enhancer Version 2 - Beta

Rename didn't work from PostProcessing, either. Tried the latest (19257) with No Luck. Tried Drag-and-Drop and Open With... I have tried with and without the recording service running.

Comskip does get called successfully when I have it checked.


The _App_post.log now does say error renaming

No tooltips at all for me with the latest version (2.0.3373.19257). Beta toggled on or not. Doesn't make a difference.

And I may not be seeing the point, but how is the beta toggle any easier than modifying the registry if you need to restart Ultra? Double clicking a REG file is just about as easy.

Let me know about tooltips at home. I know that it sucks, you had it and then it's gone, but for whatever logic that I used to make it work consistently, it has screwed up your tooltips at the office. I suspect it will be fine at home and for everyone else...

If tere are no new SeriesIDs then nothing is uploaded

32 New Series IDs
Auto Upload when done is checked.
Status bar shows "Thank you for sharing your Series IDs file..."

But no entry in the lo file.

I have ran Ultra several times today and I think I have been getting 20+ Series Ids each time I run it. But no entry in the log file makes me wonder if it's actually uploading them or not?

Can you confirm if you have received my upload Series IDs file?

I noticed in my log file the following entries:

I assume this means to click on the Fix Channels button in the Channels tab.

When I do this I'm getting an error.

Regular users won't be looking at the log so closely

Obviously the lineup changed and it wants you to fix Channels. But you can't at work, cause you don't have GB-PVR installed. So this is an indication written very specifically for you, to remind you to fix the channels when you get home.

Also, by default it's set to do this automatically, so people won't notice as long as they are running Ultra from a computer that also has GB-PVR Installed

This is the log entry that tells me that a file was sent. You should have seen a dialog box with progress with the up load. If it failed, THEN we'd get a log entry of a fail...

Actually, I'm pretty sure that you did not get 20 new seriesids, each time you ran Ultra. Ultra was smart enough to know that there was noting new and so it didn't send anything.

What you probably found was new shows with no new data, which I don't force an upload for...


Edit: If you did get 20 new SeriesID each time, it's like you have been deleting your own seriesID txt. I may not have merged your new finds into the main, but that should be OK, because the new finds would be in your seriesID txt...

Do you have the same shows listed in the log that Ultra is finding?

I just tried version 19257 and it comes up initially with all tabs showing. I thought you made it to initially come up with just the subset of tabs.

The setting is persistent. Which means that if you had Beta set to 1, then you will see all tabs. New users won't have a reg value, and the default is 0

OK. I'm going to go into the registry and delete the key. Or, should I leave it and set it to 0?

I want to be able to go back and forth for beta testing.

By the way, sub just solved my capture card problem with a two sentence answer that ended my 5 1/2 hours of struggle with it. People like you and sub are what make this world better.
