Certainly, you should be able to alwasy delete _tag and _title files, and run RemoveSettings.reg as a base line

The last version, and this newest one, I've been playing with the defaults again, so I don't doubt having trouble trying to use your old files.

My trouble is, I'd love to trap the error and handle it like msgbox (You will need to delete and reset defaults!) and then do it for the person. But I seems to be having far too much luck when it comes to trying my new builds on my Production machine...

Your last error does seem like I was trying to draw 'bad data' in the sample box on the Tags tab. I haven't been able to recreate it, because I have used the new Zehd's Picks from the beginning...

Is that launching on a machine without GB-PVR or internet?

That's launching it on my work PC. Internet access, but no GB-PVR.

When I ran it at work, it made an entry in the log file.

When I got home, I tried it there as well. At home (with Internet and GB-PVR) it would not launch at all. I deleted the _app.log file and tried again. Still no luck and the _app.log file did not get created.

So it appears to be failing before the log get created. I did notice when I started it this time what appeard to be a 'cmd' prompt window did appear for a brief moment but nothing else.

Maybe this will help you track it down.

I downloaded your latest version. I delete _tagSetting.xml and _titleSettin.xml files. I also ran RemoveSettings.reg.
I then launched Ultra but I still get an error. A different error, but still and error.

Personally I think the continue button is a silly thing. If it errors, I would rather just giving up then and there. Anyway... it does tell me if it's a minor error or not. Looks like we found a major error. But I'm worried. I don't know what has happened to database access or Internet connectivity. I don't doubt its something that is happening for both your locations...

Right you are, no version number, no log, then it's crashing from the start.

Are you trying to start GB-PVR while you are connected to Dial up, or not?

You might want to look at this, because I do not use this key at all

Tom, have you changed locations of the GB-PVR folder? Do you have the correct version of System.Data.SQLite.dll in the app folder? Is it the same version that is in devnz/gbpvr folder?

Ultra can't find a viable system.data.sqlite.dll. I don't want you to copy the one that is in the GB-PVR folder.

I've confirmed this on too many machines. Copy the system.data.sqlite.dll file from zip into the app path, if necessary. Something is corrupt...

I've trapped the 'non-existence' of that file in the Enhancer

I've also found the reason that Post wasn't renaming the files

LewE and I have just done some cleaning of the Master _SeriesID.txt file and I've uploaded it.

I would ask that everyone, delete their _SeriesID.txt file and then let Ultra Download the master on it's own.

We have have found series IDs for a couple hundred more shows...
