This does not work as described. If you click the 'Use CRLF after Tag' for the Series Status and click save you will not see the Series Status shift.

In order to see this you need to click 'Use CRLF after Tag' for the [[Description]] tag and click save. The will shift the Series Status down since the CRLF tag is append to the tag.

What about sorting the the entires in "Tag Name" dropdown? Alphabetically? I know you have the location for each of them memorized, but I had to keep scrolling up and down to find the tags you were referencing.

You're right about the CRLF thing. After I had realized it, I wanted to see if someone would find the problem and figure out the correct way to do it.

so first off, how do i turn off series episode lookup? can't even open that tab...
EDIT: ok, got it, turned off seasEPnum and all is lightning fast...
also, is there a proper way to terminate processing? just the red x?

but i guess that's more helpful to v1 users to get them over to v2...

Yes, that's the way to disable Season/Episode lookup. I've thought of a more obvious approach, but then thought to be consistent with disabling other tags.

You call it the same way. Something you might want to do if your really want a back up, is create a second folder: C:\EPG\UltraXMLTV2 and just update the one reference in your UpdateEPG.bat (or however you're updating the EPG. You could switch back an forth that way... But I don't think you'll need to. Ultra's def good enough for solid use...

That's right, Ultra 2 should be fine in whatever logon account Recording Service is in. Though, and you'd be good to check this, I haven't tried in a little while...

Forgot a couple of other answers.

In my travels, I have crash closed the program many times. I do not believe that it has done much damage. Most of everything is running from arraylist and variables.

But if you don't exit gracefully (click the stop button and wait, THEN close) many xml and text files won't be written out, and you will have lost

For example, you have 170,000 records during Enhance, Ultra tells you you have 37 new SeriesIDs (we're collecting them, and that's another story). If you crash close the program, your will have to hunt for those IDs again. If you stop and exit gracefully (even if it didn't finish all 170,000 records) you will have saved that work...

With registration, it stores a value in the registry. It's not portable between machines, but your the app folder is portable on the same machine...

Running RC1 manually this afternoon, I keep getting a crash when it goes to fetch.

I get some error message in the series.xml

Tried fresh install and fresh xmltv listings download, with the same results. I attached the text of the error message
