While the file is being downloaded the message is OK. It now shows 'KB'. But once completed it is removing the 'KB'.

Also, once the file download has been completed it seems to stay in the status bar until there is another fetch started. Is this done intentionally?

I thought I had changed the On Complete event to show KB too... I'll look. And yes the status is sticky. It's to give you a chance to read it. There's a timer so that the message clears after a second or so...

Icon in the Taskbar. I like the idea that when then app is minimized that it shows the progress of the recorbeing enhanced. Is it possible to also update the progress to indicate that it's done?

I can add that. I didn't think to because it was only supposed to be minimized when run automatically...

is it possible to add just the onscreen episode number to subtitle, even if a subtitle doesn't exist for a program? when i try, it doesn't add a subtitle if there isn't one already there..

and is the choice of 'onscreen' always superceded if other one exists?

i would like to have *only* onscreen if they exist and added to sub-title even if there isn't one...
it's an easy way to tell episodes apart if no other data exists..Smile
the other id's are too long and confusing normally, unless we can strip just the part before the . off..[which is often the onscreen number after stripping]

oh and i can't seem to stop it from adding the date and rating from the titles of movies...Sad
got it to stop adding the date, but the rating is still there.. eg:"Movie.®"
now the date seems to be back...Sad
plus i notice i'm getting fewer hits on recurring...will have to work out why tho...

I need you to get me a sample xml that shows no sub_title, but has EpOnScreen.

I don't know what you mean. Before the .off... ?

I'll check the logic for Movie Titles

I will need that example xmltv file, and examples of shows that you have recurring,

Maybe Ultra is confused with the file you're throwing at it and aren't marking new shows correctly.

send me the file at zehd 1963 at hot mail dot com

here's a sample of onscreen with no subtitle...
Quote: <programme start="20090415030000 +0000" stop="20090415033000 +0000" channel="107.COMEDY.2">
<title lang="en">The Daily Show With Jon Stewart</title>
<date>20090414</date>
<episode-num system="onscreen">14049</episode-num>
<episode-num system="dd_progid">EP00293053.1393</episode-num>
</programme>

and by after the . i meant typical dd_progid is like EP00293053.1393 and i just wanted the 1393 part as it is usually unique enough to tell it from other shows in same year..but that's only if onscreen isn't available..not a biggie...

strange, now it only show the year in my movie titles...all checks are off on second tab for movies...[even add movie category]

i'll see if i can see why i'm getting a couple less recurring shows..only 2 so may be a guide thing...

p.s. using mc2xml w/auto for new show markers in ultra and no marking in mc2xml..
tried 'mc2xml' marking in ultra, but seemed same... may try air date matching to see if a difference...[what i used to use in earlier ultra]

You might check the Genre of any of your Recurring Recordings that aren't getting picked up. If it has an Excluded Category in its Genre (on the Cache Tab), it doesn't get the * new show indicator and won't get picked up as a recurring recording.
I noticed this with The Biggest Loser (don't judge me, please), it has a genre of Game Show, so it got skipped by Ultra during enhancing. I suspect some other Reality type shows may be in the same boat depending on you're listing info... I just removed Game Show from the Category Exclude: list on the Cache Tab to resolve the problem (This did not seem to significantly change the processing time).

here's a couple more samples of that no-subtitle thing..
Quote: <programme start="20090409033500 +0000" stop="20090409043700 +0000" channel="2.KPRC.0">
<title lang="en">The Tonight Show With Jay Leno</title>
<desc lang="en">Actress Halle Berry; actor Frank Caliendo; Prince performs.</desc>
<date>20090325</date>
<episode-num system="dd_progid">EP00004397.4304</episode-num>
<video>
<aspect>16:9</aspect>
<quality>HDTV</quality>
</video>
<audio>
<stereo>stereo</stereo>
</audio>
</programme>
<programme start="20090409043700 +0000" stop="20090409053600 +0000" channel="2.KPRC.0">
<title lang="en">Late Night With Jimmy Fallon</title>
<desc lang="en">Actor Russell Brand; show hosts Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht; The Virgins perform.</desc>
<date>20090311</date>
<episode-num system="onscreen">0008</episode-num>
<episode-num system="dd_progid">EP01126304.0008</episode-num>
<video>
<aspect>16:9</aspect>
<quality>HDTV</quality>
</video>
<audio>
<stereo>stereo</stereo>
</audio>
</programme>
and a few curious things, notice how this one doesn't have anything added to subtitle?
it's set to add onscreen to subtitle, and dd_progid to description...neither show up anywhere onscreen..nor date...?
