correct...just did that... [and adjusted to my prefs]
i also checked add year to movie title to see if the logic was backwards, but still adds it..
it does seem to be picking up correct number of shows using 'mc2xml' for new show marking method.. [with 0 day setting]

and looks like the date thing is in the data...it's always a day previous...i thought it would be because the offset was not being applied but doesn't look so...

it's just odd cuz for some shows it says the date is the provious date, but it's still marked as new...? probably coming from a /new tag or other marking..
but i bet the date problem will break the 'date matches airdate' new show marking completely...

the rest seems to be working better now that removed excludes.

will have to check more shows but it looks great so far..

I'm playing around with the new enhance and can not get it to add "movie" as a category for movies. I use SchedulesDirect, so the episode for movies in the listings always start with "MV...". The enhancer seems to catch the movies as it is correctly adding dates and ratings to their titles, but it does not add a "movie" category despite having the box checked. Here are a pair of pre & post enhanced xml files and a screen shot of how I've configured the enhancer. Can you see what I'm doing wrong or could there be a bug?

I know you mention previously you were having a problem with Season/Episode numbers for some shows and I was wonder if this problem would effect the same shows all of the time or if it would work sometime for a show and other times it would not?

For CSI: Crime Scene Investigation * I was present with the correct Season/Episode number last week (S09E19) but this week it shows (920).

Did anything change or is this one of those problematic shows?

No. It;s hit or miss, depending on the consistency of the TV Guide writers.

Sometimes the data isn't even there, (It's late)

example...

Married... with Children
Married ... With Children
Married...with Children

are all different. (let's say that this was an episode title) If the fans wrote
Married with Children, Ultra would have trouble...

Actually it's hard to give a good example because in the previous example, I actually hard coded some logic to take care of this... But basicially, there will be some cases that I can't have foreseen, and Ultra misses.

Ultra's logic does catch many, if not most shows, and I'm not looking on dealing with more one-off misses, until I have other things taken care of.

Actually, a main way for Ultra to know if a movie is a movie is that there already is a 'Movie' in the Categories.

The MC and SD files I have been working worth all have Movie in Category, yours doesn't. The on,y difference I can see is that you haven't updated your XMLTV.exe program... You're still using 1.68, LewE and I for example are using 1.74

I updated the EPG wiki page a while back. I know that it usualy isn't a big deal, and so I didn't make a big deal. A person just misses a tag or two. But While developing Ultra, I assumed that people will be up to date. I assume, because I do not want to backward compatible...

Anyway, I didn't add some bacward compatibility this time, so you don't have to rush out and upgrade, but I'm not planning on much more...

Fixed the add 'Year', 'MPAA' and 'Star Rating' to Movie title, and they work independently.

Added code to force 'Movie' to a category if it doesn't already exist.

@pBS, I looked at the code for your epnums on shows without subtitles. I've recreated it and know of the problem.

It will take some time, because I have to mess with other tags too. I don't want to spend that time right now. But I'll get at it...
