UltraXMLTV Enhancer Version 2 - rc1

Just so you know, I've deleted all files starting with an underscore, ran RemoveSettings.reg, and rebooted. All have been done several times.

Typically, I keep a couple of the older zip files around but I had just deleted all of the old zip files. So I am unable to go back to a previous version to test if the problem is occurring in a previous version now. Do you (or anyone else) have any old zip files (previous versions) around?

Apparently the very small change I just made to an error handler, did not trigger a version/revision number change. I have uploaded and updated the new enhancer on the wiki, found and fixed your problem...

FYI The show "Gangland" is crashing out Ultra every time it encounters it (i.e. during enhancing, or if I select it in the Series ID dropdown in the Season/Ep Lookup tab). The XML looks pretty goofy.

I just culled the show from my xmltv.xml download before manually processing and everything ran through fine, so it seems to be the only problem show.

Thanks for digging guys. Yeah, every once in a while an xml can look bad enough to crash Ultra. I'll have a look..

It's a malformed XML (missing some thing) and it's at the source. You can solve this temporaily by setting the WebRetries to 0.

Unfortunately, it's such a general error I'm trapping, so when it retires, Ultra gets messed up. If I remember Sesame Street gives me grief too...

Anyway, I'm using standard XML readers that arew getting caught. In Ultra 1, I built my xml readers and I was able to design a work around. That means that to get rid of this, I will need to rewrite the xml reader, and that requires time. I'll see what I can do, but can't promise for 'soon'...

None. Having any retries at all is just something to fight with a very flaky server. If your connection is good and the serve is up and running well, a 0 value is perfect.
