I may be able to do a stop gap green reflect using the exsisting graphics set. Will try to get it done by the end of the week.

Thanks, says another one for whom changing over to CS4 will cause domestic disharmony.

Which raises the point - can I ask ever so gently - why do we have to keep changing the look & feel? We were quite happy with CS3's Green Reflect...

There were also quite a few who did not care for Green Reflect. Hence the diversity.

By comparison, blue, tends to be the universal UI color for all media electronic interfaces.

Fair point, although I was thinking more about the impetus behind the move from to CS4, which renders CS3 obsolete - and just wondered why....

What is transparent to the user is that these version changes are mostly in the xml and image structure, ie. the "Skinning Engine" if you will. We wanted to have a method to add higher resolution graphics (per user requests) and the previous method was more prohibitive.

I'd just like to add, (for me) if we're lucky projects try to keep moving forward. These major changes to the community skin project, which I feel reflect a lot of what CS users were asking for, were to move it forward and improve it (I personally feel that they have).

Just to put the whole theme thing in perspective, everything I've done so far is still available to users in the CS3 package. Refect Green was my very first stab at doing anything like this and it was added and became the default theme for the CS over a year ago now. In that time I feel that the quality of graphics and my understanding of the skinning engine in GB has moved on considerably. I wasn't comfortable simply copying over themes/graphics that I personally feel are sub-par, I wanted to re-do them to a standard that I'm more comfortable with now. So the Reflect series for CS4 will not be a copy of what exists for CS3 now. This all takes time, CS4 was only released 4/5 weeks ago (after, for me, a pretty intensive development period). I hope to add further themes/graphics for CS4 as time goes by, with my hope being that they are of a much higher quality.

To illustrate this a little, here is a sneak peek at how Reflect Green for CS4 is shaping up Smile - compared to how it looks presently for CS3.

I assume the first image is CS3, the second is CS4?
