Progress on move of wiki

I've now started to move the content of the Wiki to gbpvr.com. (Don't worry I'll not take down the wiki yet .

Before incorporating the plugins and skin pages, I would like some feedback on the Plugin Template and Skin Template that I have created.

Anything missing/unnecessary/good/bad about them?

is it possible to have subpages or hidden fields (not sure what you call them, but say you click "expand" and some text is displayed, and click it again and the text is hidden, kind of like a popup menu, but it moves the rest of the page down).

like i say you need to use "MyDatabase.mdb" the clicking that the text expands and instructions on how to setup the "MyDatabase.mdb" file is displayed. im not sure how much power you have over this thing.

i think the sidebar is a bit long...maybe some submenus should only be displayed if they parent-menu is active...

looks nice though, the blue look is cool. maybe the gbpvr-logo should be displayed somewhere, when there will finally be a decision.

Have you tried clicking Skins.. Utilites... Plugins... ?

I do agree that it is long, but I don't want to break the plugins into sub-sub-sections yet. I have thoughts about categorising them to find them more easily, but have trouble comming up with category names that spread them evenly.

Yes, I have seen a great implementation of that once, but it took all texts directly from a database, so I guess it's hard to implement it for the wiki.

I suggest that we just add new pages. This is not exactly what you wanted, but you can still get everything expanded to a single page if we add a wiki trail, and a publish button on the first plugin page.

You can get a feel for what I mean if you go to ConfigurationNotes and pretend that you there have a publish-button to push

Strange how long as this been going on? I've just look at the web page, I see some of my skins are missing? But I like the UI!

Don't worry ALL skins and plugins should be considered missing :p

I have not started to integrate them yet, just playing around with layout and structure....

One thing I would add to the Template is a link for a Support Thread back on the GBPVR Forums. Prefereablly the Developer forum or maybe a new Plugin Support. I personally think we have too many different places as plugin/skin developers to look for support. Maybe by providing a link back to the appropriate thread we can cut that down and just look in one place for our plugin/skin support.

I have now added a link to the Developers forum. If sub adds a "plugin/skin support" section, I'll change the link to point there.

Ideally, the developer would create a thread in the Developer's forum, and then provide a link to that thread.
