Is there a Comcast user here, with QAM capable capture device, that could help me out by capturing some transport streams, and making them available to download from somewhere?

If you can help, send me PM and I'll let you know exactly what I need.

Ok, I might need to narrow down my request to be a bit more specific so I get exactly the sort of user I'm looking for.

Is there any comcast users that have one of those DTA cable boxes, ideally a Pace box, supplied by comcast in areas where they've started switching off the analog cable signals? If this is you, please PM me and we'll discuss.

imagn or dalabera, do either of you have one of these?

Mine is a Motorola Digital and the way I have my setup is by having a splitter so the cable feed go directly to the tuner and cable box.

I have a motorola box, but not sure what you are looking for, my set up is as follows,

Cable is split at source 2 ways one to the cable box and one to the rest of the house, and then split 2 more times of the like for the rest of the house

{}Split---------------split-------spit----------------- Cable box in bedroom
V v-------- split again 3 feeds to GBPVR box
v-------------------Cable box in living room

Hope the above makes some sense, and yes i get strong signal for my GBPVR Box, i have 1 analog and 2 digital devices for it, I think they have started to pair back analog but not sure if they are turning it off, i did notice that the QAM offering has increased recently, even though its not anything of interest
