BrainStormer Wrote:The other thing that can cuse these messages is if the file isn't in unix format, what editor are you using to edit the files? It must only use Line Feed at the endo of a line and not Carriage Return+Linefeed. Also if any of your additions output text you need to increase the Content-Length to match the number of chars.

I am using EditPad Lite as I have been for some while.

Either the CSI installer or BrainStormer's scripts would be the preferred option.

I guess though from a support point of view if WOL was available through CSI then it would make you life easier in the future so perhaps this should be the preferred option.

I updated the CSI script to hopefully make this easier and permanent for you http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...#pid206792 I did test with ether-wake and it does work.

Martin How can I load the new CSI script, I tried using the CSI installer but it reports I' amready using the current version, have removed and reinstalled but no joy.

I then assume I just add the path to ether-wake into useropt.sh

suchs as \share\Apps\mvpmcx2\bin\ether-wake follwed by the MAC

Sorry to be a pain

Uninstall and reinstall, I didn't update the version because I was waiting for your test. You will also need to copy ether-wake yourself. Remember this is linux, so use slashes not backslashes.

OK school boy error, I did unistall and reinstall but used \ instead of / so will correct tonight and try.

I assume there should be no problem in running ether-wake from the

/share/Apps/mvpmcx2/bin directory?

Just checked my useropt.sh file and this is what I have, so my / are correct so must be missing something else.

The only thing I can think of is that you might not have put useropt.sh into the bin folder.
