Other status on login page

Hi

I have my EWA setup to login, i notice there is also a guest account.

However is there a way (future request) to have something to either bypass the login (like a GUEST button) that then shows the status of the server, space left and basic no secure info and maybe allow other things like download of stuff recorded.

Or at least to have on the login screen to show the status of the GBPVR if its recording etc... and space left.

Maybe have a config page in the EWA location that says what this page shows etc...???

Do you run vista by any chance? whurlston created a sidebar gadget that ships with EWA that provides status info. Just go to the statistics page when on a vista machine and there will be a button to install the gadget.

No Vista, however this would be for external web access so the system wont matter as its to see via the web front end only.

This data is what i was looking for, but was hoping this would be incorporated (or at least an option to) on the main "login.aspx" page so you have the option of seing what GBPVR is upto before you have to log in OR a button on the "login.aspx" page that would show a page showing the details.

However might be just as easy to have it on the login page itself rather than clicking another button to see it. SO its clear this is to see before you login, the amount of times i just like to know GBPVR is recording and have to "login" to see what its doing when all i need to do it open a page to check that.

That shouldn't be hard to add to the login page......i'll check into doing something and post back.

Going on Holiday for the next 10 days so won't get to it till after I am back.....but I am only back for a week and then I am off again for 18 days.

Sounds good...... ive looked over the public XML file, i would use everything excluding the log file...
