On the wiki page, under history, the date says 2008-08-28. Also, it says that it is compatible with earlier versions of GBPVR but the current version is not listed.

1 vote from me for Metro Radar.

What is the difference between local and metro radars? I tried a few other cities (since where I live would not take advantage of it) and the only difference I see is the image seems to have less detailed image in the metro version. Looks more "cartoonish" for lack of words. It seems to cover the same radius.

I'm pretty sure the previous version used the local radar (for me, the Dickinson NOAA radar about 5 miles from my house - would have come in handy Sunday night when the waterspout came ashore in Galveston!!)

I can see a zoom level difference between the two, but I don't know what the actual difference is.

Do people want both? I know the Local map dimensions different, and I'm not sure how good it will look since the dimensions of it is 500x620, whereas the other maps are all 640x480.

I suppose it depends on where you live. In Rhode Island, state level is probably fine. But here in Texas a state level view doesn't have nearly enough detail. Wink

I have no way from your location to easily figure out what your local/metro radar would be. So I'll probably have to add it as a drop-down selection in config. That way you can choose whatever one you want, and if you even want them.
