Hey Snooze,

AWESOME! I'm glad you posted this, I love the new remote commands. I'm going to try and figure out why they aren't working in full screen on my app. Very weird, since it is working with the player not in full screen. I'll post an update if I can figure it out. Also, did you happen to come across a remote command to switch episodes?

As for the search, I am assumming that you mean after you bring up a search list, you'd like to go back to your queue. To do this, you just click Ctrl-o and select your queue and it will reload for you. If you think it would be handy, I can add a shortcut Ctrl-q? to go straight to your queue. Let me know your thoughts.

On the sound issue, does that happen when using Netflix through ie also? I haven't had this problem at all, so I'm not sure what would cause it.

I'm trying to replicate the info screen problem, but it always has data for me. Just curious, when you have this problem did you possibly close the info screen manually using alt-F4? If so, I think I can fix that pretty easily.

Also, did you try adding the remote codes (play/pause) to IE? Let me know if that fixes your play/pause problems in full screen.

Thanks for all your testing help!!!

I was revising my EDIT to #4 when you posted this, maybe that will explain more.

Not yet Wink

I have the remote to do this already in MENU, and am thinking of setting EXIT to do the same. Currently EXIT does a ctrl F4 and it exits the app, snooze no like.

If it is not too much trouble, I am sure myself and others would be in favor of it!

I am wondering if it was just how many times I rudely exited the app and it got fussy. Will keep watch for it. It happened after the second time I tried to raise the info screen while watching the same video, then return back to full screen shortly after the sound disappeared. It may be that I was just being hard on things. Will keep an eye out for it. I wouldn't focus on it for now.

That is the only way I could figure out how to close it to return to what was playing, so yes, that was how I did it. I can change the remote function... but if someone is using a keyboard or setting up HIP or Eventghost, you know you will be addressing it sooner or later. Big Grin

I am willing to test more. I use Netflix Watch Now a lot. Just post and I will respond.

Hey Snooze,

Please let me know what your screen resolution was when the auto full screen failed. I tested it on every resolution that my test computer will do, but I may have missed one. Also, if the movie takes longer than 10-15 seconds to load, the auto full screen will fail. Every once in a while I have to hit the F7 key to put it into full screen because the movie takes too long to load. If the F7 shortcut still works, then it is just that the movie took too long to load, if the F7 key doesn't work, then please let me know the screen resolution and I will fix it.

When you press F10 for the info screen, the info box pops up for 10 seconds and then it should automatically close and reenter full screen playback mode, you shouldn't have to manually close it. But I will fix it so, if you do manually close it, it won't lose the movie data. I'll put it out with a new version shortly.

The screen that pops up after performing a search is actaully the same main menu screen that the program loads to. That is why the whole app closes if you alt-F4 the screen. I will add a shortcut, so you can get back to your main menu without going through the options menu. I am thinking I will just do ctrl-m (main menu), and it will take you back to the screen that is defined on the options menu as the start screen.

1152x648... I bet you didn't have that one! Its native to my TV (old HDTV ready)

Yeah, still to no avail.

Sound good!

I noticed that.

That would be an excellent addition to your app! Just let me know and I will update instructions and irremote.ini file for Hauppauge 45 button remote users.

EDIT: Can you get anything out of this for the Next/Previous Episode that is usable? http://code.google.com/p/netflixhotkeys/...ol.ahk?r=3

Smile You got that right, I do not have that resolution. I might have it on my downstairs computer, if so I will get it working. Otherwise, I might need to send you a "test" version of the program, so you can tell me where the cursor ends up. Being you are my loyal tester, I will guarantee I'll get it working for you.

The next/previous episode is on my to do list. Unfortunately I figured out that the buttons are off the screen when watching 4:3 shows in my app ( I was trying to maximize the viewing screen Sad). So, I will have to rewrite the entire full screen macro in order to get this working. It has become an annoyance for me recently to switch episodes (watching Avatar), so it is moving up my priority list.

1152x648 was a default on my ATI I believe, dont know if that was of the hardware detection ATI has. I had to set it manually on my NVidia which is in my current machine. That was a pain, and I was really contemplating jerking one of the X1950 Pro crossfires I have in my gaming machine and slapping it in my GBPVR machine. In ATI, I think they referred to it as optimized or something like that, dont know if that helps. PM me if you need to send a test version.

Maybe you have thought of this, but if you alt-F4 to exit full screen, is there enough buttons to select the next episode that way? I know I wouldn't complain if that was possible. I would change the remote keys to match that.

Also, is there a way after (maybe this is done already and I didnt notice yet since I am watching Color of War, The) an episode that it escapes fullscreen until you decide what to do? Maybe that is way to many positions to point? Just trying to help.

Hey Snooze,

The chapter buttons are not on the full screen OSD, so you would have to exit full screen to move chapters. I will work on this over the weekend, I think I can knock it out by Monday.

I don't know of a way to monitor when the episode ends, so I have no way of automatically exiting full screen. I will ask some buddies of mine that are WAY better at this stuff. If I can get that to work fairly easily I will implement it.

Oh, also I do have your screen resolutiuon on my downstairs computer, so I should have your resolution working in the Monday release.

That's great. Cant wait to test for you. I have been getting much use out of your app. I have a few more suggestions, but I dont want to overwhelm your current development. Everything is working fairly well, I really like being able to pick out of my queue plus all the catagories! Good work!

Thank you. But by all means suggest away.

And I felt bad going to bed without fixing your screen resolution, so the newest version works for 1152x648 (version 1.0.3568.42562). I'll have it posted in about a minute.
