OK requested fixes have been made and it is available on post #1 as always. I also noticed a few minor things last night that I fixed, just stuff not lining up properly. Oh and you can now hit the play button (space bar) to start playing a movie. I found myself hitting the play button to try and start a movie and it got annoying, so I added the button functionality.

For some reason the version I posted previously wasn't resizing the search list for font 16. The latest fixes that.

Hi dhgb256,

Some Problems:
I was trying the next/previous episode (on 30 rock, season 1) shift tab works but it is advancing, and tab does not work at all. Not on keyboard, or mouse. Sounds like a resolution problem. 1152x648 resolution here.

Options Dialog box is a tad bit too big for the 1152x648 resolution with font size set to 18.

App glitches:
When in searching dialog box, after selecting actor, director or movie name phrase, if you accidentally left arrow in the refine search box, it crashes the app.

When you do a search, and get your search result, pressing play (space) starts adding spaces to the beginning of the description. I also noticed when I F10 Info and accidentally hit play (space) it also adds spaces in the info screen. And then if I am in the main menu, I noticed I can do this if I tab over to the description, to scroll up and down, it also can add spaces. Kinda funny, I have been playing with it to goof up the descriptions Smile We probably have to live with this one I am assuming.

Question:
Ctrl-O opens and closes the options dialog. Ctrl-S opens the search, but does not close it. Is this intentional?

Ok perhaps a silly question but how do you exit the program? esc does not work and I end up closing with task manager all the time,

Also is the search screen supposed to look like the attached? I get a selection box with 3 actions and nothing i do (enter etc.) adds more.

Pressing alt and F4 together should close it. See post #30 of this thread if you want to map a hauppauge remote to do it. esc closes any other screen (I think that is what I am finding), but to close the main app you need to close with alt and F4. This is true for any closing any app in windows I am pretty sure.

Yours looks like mine. Highlighting and hitting enter should take you to another 2 boxes below, one being a refine search box where you enter text or numbers, and a browse-able scroll box below it.

Did you either download the database or let it do the approx. 60 minute build like it describes in Post #1?

One more thing I noticed.

After viewing a movie, and returning to the main menu with esc or alt+f4, after a few seconds without doing anything, the cursor starts flashing in the "Genres: whatever" area and you need to tab or shift tab to get back to the list. I was wondering why scrolling up and down didn't do anything.

You know what would be cool. To have each window be just a little different to indicate what field the cursor is in/on like Hulu Desktop. (i.e. with an outlined box, little different text, slightly different color, or something).

Aah - I am testing using my laptop before putting on my HTPC so on the search I double clicked with a mouse instead of enter. And Alt-f4 is probably mapped to something more obvious on the remote and of course being in windows I looked for the big X.

I downloaded the dbase although it does a quick (30 sec) refresh on open every time but well worth it if I put this in as an app on the GBPVR menu,

Yeah, that isn't major to me either. I also added the database builder to the postupdateepg.bat so in 30 days it does it when I am sleeping. Smile
