Unfortunately event ghost doesn't recognize the Netflix:... window, so I can't use it. Sad I'm glad you have it working though. i'll just have to alt-F4 before using my keys.Sad

I just found you dont need the "Netflix: " stuff. Just Netflix Movie Viewer=. So you should be able to get it to work. I revised the example in post #30.

dhgb256 Wrote:Well I tried, I thought I found an easy work around using an application_idle event, but I couldn't figure out how to turn on the idle event when coming out of fullscreen and if I left it on during fullscreen play it crashed the app. So the only other way to work this is to set a public timer and reset the timer for every mouse/keypress, so I think it will be too much coding. Sorry. Sad

Ok, thanks for trying.

I wonder what would happen if Movie Viewer was renamed to Netflix Movie Viewer in your app? Would it create two instances and really mess things up when it goes to full screen? If you alt-tab in full screen, the Iconless/Titleless application running is Netflix Movie Viewer.

I just downloaded and ran Version 1.1.3584.40895 - 10/24/09. An hour and a half later I am up and running again Big Grin 7,065 objects. 10.5mb first log file, with 73kb additional log files each time the app is loaded.

Everything seems to work like you intended. I had 34 popups that auto closed like they should. At the end it had a popup saying something about VB (something)... it auto-closed before I could focus on it. I then opened Options (looking for changes you made, didnt find any) so I closed it and it overlayed a short scan on top of the main menu, like you see on startup. I exited an restarted to try to duplicate, but it didnt do it anymore, so probably nothing to worry about.

I also just noticed, maybe its been like this and I haven't noticed... but when I exit a movie (D-Day: The Total Story) and return to the main screen, the highlighted movie advances to the next movie down in the list Dark Ages, The) rather than staying on the one I just exited from.

So then I experimented the same from a movie on top of the list (21), press play and watch for a little while, then exit to main menu, it returned to the last movie (D-Day: The Total Story).

The above was all in My Queue, so I tried in Action and adventure, after watching a couple movies beginning with the letter "A" and exiting, it returns to the list highlighting the first movie beginning with the letter "D".

EDIT: I think I know what the problem is. I was using the remote teletext to find D-Day and it is remembering that when returning to the main menu. If I exit and restart the app and don't use teletext, it works like it should, highlighting what I had just played.

I like the new highlighting by the way.

Oh, and don't you hate when you run into a movie like Anaconda and the movie buttons are up to high and the app loses focus? Must be driving you nutz too. Big Grin

LMAO! Sorry, I am a pain. I wish I had a new LCD, but cant justify, nor find the space to put the HDTV I have. Always has to be one person that is different, ya it is a dumb resolution (optimized... my butt)!

I tried 1.2. No change for me, I suppose it is the screen resolution thing. All the buttons, they are way up there!

I verified it with 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x648, 1280x720, 1980x1080. Sad I'm not sure what is happening. I'll check it out when I get home.

LOL! Big Grin Don't worry, it wasn't working on ANY screen resolution, I forgot to test the cinematic movie format when I changed the fullscreen feature (to add episode selectors), so it isn't your TV. I apparently tested a 4:3, a 16:9 and another 16:9 (thinking it was cinematic) :o

Well that don't help me get a new TV either! Ha

Try Anaconda at 1152x648 and you should see what I am experiencing. Thanks!

What is cinematic resolution anyway?

I tried Anaconda at 1152x648 and it worked. Can you confirm that noone messed with your screen resolution and that I did include the 1.2.0.0 version in the latest zip. i have a new baby in the house and not getting a lot of sleep Smile

I'm using the wrong term, not reolution, I meant aspect ratio. It is 2.39:1, that is why it is so small on your screen.
