mvpmcx2 starts only after (re)boot

wsmaal, if you want to try and debug this from telnet you get some information for me capturing the session with Putty.

1. Run these commands.

cat > /share/Apps/mvpmcx2/bin/useropt.sh
/share/Apps/mvpmcx2/bin/mvpmcx2 &
^D (Control D)

wget -O /dev/null http://localhost:9999/mvpmcx2_gaya

2. Go to your EGreat and Hit Stop

3. Compress and upload your putty.log file.

The command is correct, but no log file (except the output on the telnet screen).

load mvpmcx2 via the Network Browser solved my problem, but I appreciate the debugging of CSI mvpmcx2.

Thanks for trying. The next thing to do is check if the ftp server is started. CSI depends on it to run.

ftp server on my NMT was/is running (can always insecure ftp login NMT)..

Ger and I are a bit baffled about why this is occurring. When mvpmcx2 is started by CSI could you issue the ps command by telnet and find out if it is running as root or as nobody (left column)

Also are you using an alternate process like lighttpd or one of the gaya alternates?

Also are you using an alternate process like lighttpd or one of the gaya alternates?

I only use NZBget and Telnetd.

After uninstalling lighttpd, CSI mvpmcx2 works now, without reboot!
Problem is solved, but there is a bug to fix ;-)

Excellent thank you Wouter. I installed lighttp and I have problems I can't even load mvpmcx2 with the default Media Services so you may have created an alternate load which might be the cause of the exit problem.

I have notified Ger of the problem.
