Hi Snooze,

Right here is a new version of the UtorrentLib.dll. if you can replace the version you currently have in gbpvr\plugins\torrents directory with the version in the zip file

Second can you update to the latest version of WizUtils also. I found a error in the logging routines within Wizutils. Once updated the utorrentlib will post it's info and error messaging into PVR log file.

Once you've make these changes can you re run the torrents plugin and hopefully I should see the actual error...

Thanks
Regards Systemshark

and

Can you double check the utorrentlib.dll is the new version ?

WizGenHelper.dll 1.0.1.2 9/10/09

utorrentlib.dll 1.0.0.0 10/13/09 (the one you wanted me to use)

I am trying this on a client, does that matter?

Hi Snooze,

right I have sent you a PM with a installation kit. Would you mind installing it and runing the exampleGUI application.

It should create a log directory with a log file, thats the one which will show what is going on.

I've updated the DLLs to be shipped with the ExampleGUI and use GBPVR paths so everything shold work first time

Good luck and let me know...

Hi Snooze,

So looking at your log file, the GUI was talking sucessfully to utorrent.

Which means I think we have a problem loading the correct DLL. When you orgininally updated the dll's with my later versions, it appears that the plugin is calling old versions of the DLL and thus not creating the log as per the example GUI created.

Can you test my theory please ? I'd like you to rename the DLLs in torrent plugin directory. Can you rename utorrentlib.dll to utorrentlib.old and then retest the plugin.

I'm expecting it to work and report it cann't connect which means it's using a another copy of the DLL somewhere on the machine.

If it is the only copy of the DLL then the Plugin should error and return to the GBPVR Main menu.

Thanks
Regards Systemshark
