Wel I think it is time. I am moving this over to Community Announcements! Thank you all for your help with ironing this out (Especially Snooze!), and I'm sure I'll have betas coming out soon with all the additional features that have been requested.

Maybe I am doing something wrong -- but when I put this ABOVE default my std buttons to start gbpvr and other apps stops working. Also even with them in this seq I could never get SKIPFWD to advance to the next episode. Any hints?

I know nothing about the hauppauge remote stuff. But as far as skip forward, what resolution are you using? I have only verified it with 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x648, 1280x720 and 1980x1080 (even then it might not work right Smile ). If you have a resolution other than this let me know and I will get it working for you.

This method is a sacrifice I know. I edited post #30 slightly. Netflix Movie Viewer I am finding is the only application that needs to be above Default. I do not have my remote starting any other application so I am not positive of this, but I think you may have the green power and other buttons mapped to start other applications and those reside in the [Default] section. I would think if you edited your IRremote.ini file and copied from [Default] up to [Netflix Movie Viewer] without duplicating buttons, it should restore your original operation and allow you to control Netflix in fullscreen mode.

EDIT: Another way to do this is to not add Netflix Movie Viewer= above Default at all, and just edit Default= with the Netflix Movie Viewer= mappings. The one at the top is always the default.

If you want to zip and attach the file, I can take a look at it for you.

I think you need to move your "custom" buttons to the [Movie Viewer] section as Snooze suggests. This works for me, and fortunately there were no duplicates. It's not the cleanest, but at least it works. If you try Snooze's second suggestion (Movie Viewer buttons in [Defalut]), let us know if it works as it would look a little cleaner (in case anyone inspects the documentation of irremote.ini Smile0

You want to move them to the Netflix Movie Viewer section, not the Movie Viewer section.

You will still need the Movie Viewer section unless you want to try using Default for everything. That's the nice part of irremote.ini, you can customize it any way you want. I couldn't get it to all work smoothly since I am using alt-f4 to escape fullscreen to do the other commands.

I moved the mappings to [Default] now and deleted Netflix Movie Viewer= and deleted the [Netflix Movie Viewer] section after copy/paste to Default to clean things up. Also, in case in the future I want to add more functions. Now I have nothing above Default.

Doing it either way works, it just depends if you have other things mapped in Default. I didn't before. I updated post #30 for this method as well. The using Default method is at the bottom of the post.

Thanks for the update Snooze and the section name corrections. I was responding in a hurry (obvious from all the typos) and didn't check the topic review. Glad to hear the [Default] idea works. I think I'll implement that when I install the latest version on the PVR box. I apparently can't resist changing more than one thing at a time.
