Are you using NSIS to run elevated permissions as well? If so, I think I need to take a look at it as well.

It appears the latest version of NSIS has a fix that the older version I am running doesn't, also I think I have read that if we remove the 'Run' checkbox at the end, that would help, or we would need to use the UAC plugin.

Quote:Changes:
Major Changes
  • Added support for Windows 7 installers - use RequestExecutionLevel, just like with Vista (bug #2725883)
  • Added WinVer.nsh Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 support
  • Installers now identify as Terminal Services aware
(IMAGE_DLLCHARACTERISTICS_TERMINAL_SERVER_AWARE) so $WINDIR will no longer be under the user's profile when installing on Terminal Services
  • Less UAC annoyance in Add/Remove control panel (bug #2697027)

Fatman_do sorry I missed your post. Yes I've configured my script with

RequestExecutionLevel admin

I also did update to version 2.45 when it came out.
