get recording-status

i need to get the recording status (recording in progress/no recording in progress) of gbpvr for use in an standalone (c#-) application.

is there an easy way to do this?

You can use the LoadRecordingSchedule() method from the GBPVR.Public namespace to get the information your are requesting.

the latest shut down plugin on the wiki, checks if a recording is in progress or about to start (at a given interval, eg within 30 minutes), the source code for this plugin is also on the wiki, so you can look at that.
