Hi,

If you could patent this feature, you'd make a fortune.

I'm running the latest version of TV Listings and have an unusual "Feature" in the Recordings display.

I have a season recording of "Flash Forward" that's recorded every Monday for the last few weeks. Each recording is tagged with it's date with a small exception.
Each date upto 9th Nov is shown correctly, the show on the 16th Nov is tagged "Last Monday" which isn't correct because today is Wednesday 25th Nov but here's the best one, the last recording is tagged "Next Monday"!!! WOW, I always wanted to be able to get stuff before it was broadcast Big Grin

This "feature" shows consistently through all recorded program listings in Recordings screen.

Any ideas what would cause this?

Regards,

Ray.

Yes the clock is accurate and it's sync'd everyday to an internet atomic clock source (just to make sure) Smile

If it wasn't accurate, my recordings wouldn't happen at the right date/time.

How does the recordings screen deduce what label to apply?

Regards,

Ray.

Hi,

the recording times are just read out of the database. Are you having wrong dates when you disable the "friendly" date formats, too? Does the default recordings plugin show the start- and endtimes for those recordings correctly?

Hi,

Checked the database and the dates/times displayed in Recordings (as opposed to TV Recordings) and both are correct. Not sure how to disable "friendly" date display.

Unfortunately re-starting PVRX2 has temporarily cleared the problem and the display in TV Recordings is now correct. I know it won't stay that way because I've seen the problem many times over the last few weeks and I've re-started PVRX2 several times over that period.

I'll post again when it re-occurrs.

Regards,

Ray

Hi,

are you using the latest version of the plugin? If the issue is gone after restarting pvrx2, this looks similar to a bug that was fixed some time ago?

You enable / disable the date formats in the configuration form of the tv listings plugin - see the wiki for details.

The TV Listings.dll has the date 10/10/2009. I assume that's the latest?

I've seen the behaviour on both my GBPVR media centre PC and on the MVPs. I've re-enabled the default GBPVR "Recordings" page as well now so I can compare things without re-starting PVRX2.

Ray.

Hi again.

I've been checking the display for a number of my recordings over the last few days. FastForward is recorded every Monday and after the episode recorded on the 23/11/09 it was displayed as "yesterday" when I looked on the Tuesday (24th). Between the Wednesday 25th and Monday 30th it displayed "Last Monday".

A new episode was recorded on the 30th. I looked at the listings on the 1st December and the recording of the 30th was shown as "Yesterday" but the recording on the 23rd was still showing "Last Monday".

On the 2nd December, the 30th's recording had changed to "Last Monday" but the 23rd's recording was also still showing "Last Monday".

Looking at the times/dates via the old "Recordings" screen, they all appear correct.

I've also found a series of daily recording recorded between 23rd an 27th which are all showing "Last Monday" to "Last Friday" which is obviousley not correct.

Any programme earlier than the 23rd Nov is correctly showing the right date/time

Regards,

Ray.

Hi,

are the dates also wrong when the "friendly" date formats are disabled in the plugin configuration?

Hi,

When I re-start PVRX2 the displayed "friendly" labels return to the correct days. I'll disable the "friendly date function and will then have to wait to see if the dates become wrong.

This may take a few days Big Grin

Note: when the friendly labels were last being displayed incorretly on the PC, the MVPs were displaying them correctly.

Ray.
