how does gbpvr interact with transcoding mvpsoftware to push the video to the mvp. Futhermore is their no other software such as videolan etc, that can push video to the mvp?

how does gbpvr interact with transcoding mvpsoftware to push the video to the mvp.

It just uses one of the Directshow filters that was installed with the hauppauge software that is capable of converting raw video information into an MPEG stream (MainConcept encoder filter). This stream is saved to a file, and played just like any other MPEG file on the MVP.

Futhermore is their no other software such as videolan etc, that can push video to the mvp?

I dont know, I've never run videolan.
