An article on ARS includes a tale of woe heard by the FCC in the US about Comcast encrypting digital services and losing the use of our "CPE".

Nice to see someone pleading our case. Sounds like a GBPVR user.

Unfortunately, until someone with deeper pockets starts lobbying for the people, i doubt it will change much anytime soon..
not sure even if an agreement is made, that they'll comply in a timely manner..
[surely citing technical and financial difficulties..lol]
